Photography is giving the gift of a moment you never want to forget.
I am a Mackay-based lifestyle photographer, specialising in family, wedding, maternity
and newborn photos.
I feel honoured to have created an abundant portfolio of intimate moments with clients from all walks of life. From a bride and groom’s first kiss, to the squinty smile of a toddler, to the wrinkled hands of a grandparent, I love that there are so many unique stories to be told through photography.
Lifestyle photography means I specialise in photographing moments as they happen, capturing your interactions in a completely natural way and without you having to pose for the camera. I love photographing the excitement, the raw emotion and the happiness on people’s faces and through their body language.
My aim is to keep it as natural as possible so when you get your photos back, you’ll say “that’s so us!”. I mostly use natural light, and prefer shooting in natural environments like a farm, property or alongside a creek. I absolutely love photography, and I can’t wait to capture your next special moment.

Hi, I’m Deanne. I picked up a camera after the birth of my first son and realised just how special it was to capture all the little moments and details that seemed to flash before my eyes.
I immediately fell in love with taking candid photos and telling a story through my photography. Some of my most precious keepsakes are photos I have taken of loved ones who are no longer with us.
As a photographer, nothing brings me more joy than capturing beautiful moments with a single click of my camera and giving them back to my clients as a still photo – and a memory to last a lifetime.
When I’m not behind the camera, I am a wife and a mum-of-two who loves to stay active. I’ve competed in several triathlons in Queensland and I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled throughout the world. I even lived in Switzerland for a year!
In 2020, I saw the opportunity to give back to my community through the #drivewayproject which allowed me to capture over 400 families in their driveways. I loved the story-telling aspect of this project and I met so many incredible people and heard amazing stories along the way.
